Humanity
Sometimes I sit and think,
Of the world that we could create,
If only we chose love,
above violence and hate,
An argument’s not a fight,
It should be a sound debate,
But who gets to say what’s right,
When Humanity can’t relate,
Or express the source of their stress,
The world’s a chaotic mess,
If only we would confess,
Our pain could be so much less,
And we would find a solution,
Instead of just more pollution,
Of mind body and soul,
It’s time that we take control,
Of everything that we are,
Together we can go far,
As far as the eye can see,
Starting with you and me.
